Restore most batteries

** Use safety goggles and gloves

 

Put a little charge on your battery before you begin

Dump out battery acid use baking soda to neutralize the acid from old battery.

 

Mix 10 oz of baking soda per gallon of clean water

Use a funnel, pour into battery (fill each reservoir)

Rinse battery two to four times with this mixture
(shake and bump the battery to loosen up corrosion on lead plates)

Pour out baking soda solution

Mix 12 oz of Epsom salt to 1 gallon of distilled water (heat the water first, almost to boiling point)

Use a funnel, pour into battery (fill each reservoir)

Slow charge (1 amp trickle charge) battery for 48 hours (or till 12 + volts)

You might have to add some more Epsom salt distilled water mixture after it is charged
